Buck receives IABC’s «Large Agency of the Year» title and nine Gold Quill awards, including «Best of the Best»

NEW YORK, September 18, 2018 – Buck, an integrated HR consulting, benefits administration and technology services firm, today announced that it was named «Large Agency of the Year» for business communication excellence globally by the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC).

The title was awarded at IABC’s 2018 World Conference Awards Gala held this summer in Montréal, where Buck also received nine Gold Quill awards for employee engagement and corporate communications on behalf of seven client organizations, including the distinguished «Best of the Best» Award for publications, two Awards of Excellence and six Awards of Merit. Buck received these awards prior to its spinoff from Conduent in August 2018.

«We are honored to be recognized by such a prestigious organization for our work, which reflects our team’s commitment, creativity and passion for helping clients achieve their business objectives through effective engagement strategies and communication campaigns,» said Jack Freker, Chief Executive Officer of Buck, «We congratulate and thank the clients who made this possible by choosing to partner with Buck on these award-winning projects.»

The Gold Quill Awards are IABC’s international awards program recognizing excellence in the field of business communication. The «Large Agency of the Year» Award is one of six special titles presented to organizations that produce exceptional business communication materials. IABC selects each title recipient based on the number of Gold Quill Awards it won that year and the quality of the winning entries.

«Many of these winning campaigns were developed for annual enrollment,» said Jill Spielberger, Buck’s U.S. Engagement Practice Leader. “With enrollment season upon us, we continue to embrace every opportunity to help clients connect with employees and enable them to make the best decisions for their total well-being.»

For more than 40 years, IABC’s Gold Quill Awards have recognized excellence in strategic communication worldwide and are acknowledged as one of the most prestigious awards programs in the industry.

«Only exceptional work earns an IABC Gold Quill Award,» said Cindy Schmieg ABC, IABC fellow, chair of the awards committee. «Each entry is rigorously reviewed by multiple experienced communicators from around the world who are trained in applying IABC’s Global Standard of the Communication Profession. The award winners represent our profession of ethical practitioners contributing to organizational outcomes.»
