NEW YORK, January 15, 2019 – Buck, an integrated HR and benefits consulting, administration, and technology services firm, today announced that Ravi Mehta has been appointed head of strategy and M&A at Buck. Mehta joins the executive leadership team to help design Buck’s strategic direction and pursue acquisitions that support its long-term financial goals.
Previously, Mehta was Managing Director at Marsh & McLennan Companies (MMC) in the Strategy and Corporate Development group. In this capacity, he was responsible for leading the development and execution of acquisitions and divestitures globally across Mercer’s HR services portfolio.
Mehta joined MMC in 2007 from Galt & Company, a boutique management consulting firm, where he specialized in corporate revitalizations for Fortune 500 companies. Prior to Galt, he was a CPA in the Capital Markets group at PricewaterhouseCoopers. During his 11+ years at MMC, Ravi executed a wide range of acquisitions and investments in human capital management, investment management, employee health and benefits, and P&C insurance brokerage.

Mehta earned his BS in Finance and Accounting from New York University’s Stern School of Business. He is an active volunteer for Streetwise Partners, a non-profit mentoring program aimed at securing stable employment for low-income individuals.
