NEW YORK, July 1, 2021 – Buck, an integrated HR, pensions, and employee benefits consulting, technology, and administration services firm, today announced that it received three Gold Quill awards for excellence in publications and writing from the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC).
For more than 40 years, IABC’s Gold Quill Awards have recognized excellence in strategic communication worldwide and are acknowledged as one of the most prestigious awards programs in the industry.
Buck received two Awards of Excellence and one Award of Merit on behalf of its work with market-leading clients in the entertainment industry. The three awards in the Communication Skills/Publications category are the result of Buck’s highly creative work in producing annual enrollment and benefits guides.
To select the winners, blue ribbon panels reviewed 482 entries from 22 countries and evaluated the submissions at 11 global sites. Entries come from work conducted in organizations of all sizes, including boutique agencies, startups, consultancies, non-profits, educational institutions, governments, and companies.
“Ensuring employees remain informed and engaged remains a top priority for many employers. Employee engagement is increasingly important across the board, but even more so when it comes to employer-sponsored health and wellbeing benefits,” said Jack Freker, Chief Executive Officer of Buck. “Buck is honored to receive this recognition from the IABC Gold Quill Awards on behalf of our clients as we work together to raise awareness of available benefits and attract and retain top talent.”
“These recipients personify the spirit of the Gold Quill Awards: a recognition of excellence and a commitment to continuous learning and professional growth,” said Ritzi Villarico-Ronquillo, APR, IABC Fellow, and Chair of the IABC 2021 Awards Committee. “We are most grateful to all the volunteers who selflessly devoted their time during a trying year.”
The awards were presented during IABC’s Virtual World Conference on June 29, 2021, as part of the IABC Virtual Excellence Gala. More information on the Gold Quill Awards, including the full list of winners, can be found on the IABC website.
